Polyester stretch trouser fabric CC-2172 is a substantial four-way stretch woven material developed for utility trousers, uniforms and movement-focused work clothing. Its 88% polyester and 12% spandex composition combines flexibility with the garment body provided by a 210 GSM construction.

More Structure for Utility Garments

Compared with lighter stretch fabrics, the 210 GSM weight gives CC-2172 a stronger presence in finished garments. It can support structured pockets, reinforced panels and clean trouser shapes while still allowing movement.

Four-Way Mobility and Recovery

CC-2172 contains 12% spandex and is specified as four-way stretch. This makes it suitable for garment areas exposed to frequent bending and extension.

The exact stretch percentage and recovery should still be tested. A prototype garment provides the best way to assess movement around the knees, seat, waistband, elbows and shoulders.

For demanding workwear applications, abrasion resistance, tear strength, seam slippage and colour fastness should be tested according to the intended use. The fabric is not automatically certified as protective workwear.

W/R Finish for Everyday Protection

The W/R treatment helps light rain and surface splashes bead on the fabric. It does not provide a waterproof barrier or measurable hydrostatic-head rating.
