Product Description

C0 workwear twill fabric CC-PC-106 is a cotton-rich three-fibre woven developed for uniform trousers, overshirts and utility clothing. Its composition combines 58% cotton, 35% polyester and 7% nylon in a 161 GSM construction.

The fabric uses a 90D filament warp with a 21s spun-yarn weft. Its 2/2 twill weave creates a balanced diagonal structure and gives the material more visual depth than a comparable plain weave.

C0 Workwear Twill Fabric for Uniform Programmes

For brands requiring lighter workwear with non-fluorinated water-repellent chemistry, C0 workwear twill fabric CC-PC-106 provides a practical starting point.

Potential applications include:

  • Uniform and utility trousers
  • Workwear overshirts
  • Lightweight chore jackets
  • Travel and commuting garments
  • Casual utility clothing
  • Workwear-inspired apparel

At 161 GSM, it is lighter than traditional heavy industrial workwear. Trouser applications should therefore be assessed for opacity, abrasion resistance and seam performance.

C0 Grade 4 Water Repellency

The supplied specification includes a C0 water-repellent finish with a Grade 4 target. C0 identifies the finishing-chemistry direction but does not replace laboratory verification.

Before production, the buyer should confirm the applicable spray-test method, initial Grade 4 acceptance criteria, wash durability and any specified PFAS limit.

The material should not be described as waterproof because no membrane, coating or hydrostatic-head result is included.

Before approving C0 workwear twill fabric, sourcing teams should also evaluate tear strength, abrasion resistance, shrinkage, seam slippage and colour fastness.

Better Cotton Option

The cotton component can be sourced through a Better Cotton (BCI) option, with relevant supporting documentation available upon request.
