Cotton-rich ripstop fabric CC-PC-115 combines 51% cotton, 42% polyester and 7% nylon in a practical 154 GSM construction. Its yarn specification uses a 90D filament direction with a combined The ripstop weave incorporates reinforcement yarns at regular intervals, creating a visible grid intended to help restrict the propagation of small tears. Its suitability should therefore be assessed against the actual strength requirements of the garment. CC-PC-115 includes a Grade 4 water-repellent finish for resistance to brief surface moisture. It does not include a confirmed waterproof barrier. The applicable spray-test method, initial rating and wash durability should be agreed before production. Ripstop appearance alone does not guarantee a particular tear-strength result.
