Product Description

Three-fibre double-layer fabric CC-PC-113 combines 66% cotton, 29% polyester and 5% nylon in a substantial 231 GSM woven construction. Its 90D × 32s+21s yarn system is arranged as a double-layer fabric rather than a conventional single-layer weave.

The double-layer construction provides additional fabric body and structural depth without being described as a laminated or bonded material.

Three-Fibre Double-Layer Fabric for Structured Apparel

For brands developing substantial jackets and utility clothing, three-fibre double-layer fabric CC-PC-113 may be evaluated for:

  • Structured workwear jackets
  • Utility overshirts
  • Uniform outerwear
  • Travel and commuting jackets
  • Substantial utility trousers
  • Workwear-inspired casual garments

The construction may create thicker seams than a single-layer fabric. Prototype sewing is recommended to evaluate folding, topstitching, pocket construction and seam allowances.

The exact method used to connect the two woven layers should also be confirmed through a construction sheet or physical sample.

C0 Grade 4 Water Repellency

CC-PC-113 includes a C0 water-repellent finish with a Grade 4 target. C0 identifies a non-fluorinated chemistry direction, but any specified PFAS limit must still be verified through testing.

The approved production specification should include the spray-test method, Grade 4 acceptance criteria and required durability after laundering.

Before approving three-fibre double-layer fabric, buyers should evaluate layer stability, seam construction, tear strength, shrinkage, dimensional stability and colour fastness.

Better Cotton Option

The 66% cotton component can be sourced through a Better Cotton (BCI) option. Relevant supporting documentation can be provided upon request.
