Product Description

Nylon cotton 2/2 twill CC-NC015 is a 150 GSM cotton-rich woven fabric developed for uniforms, lightweight trousers and structured overshirts. It combines a 70D nylon filament warp with a 21s cotton weft, producing 35% nylon and 65% cotton.

The 2/2 twill weave distributes yarns evenly over and under two opposing yarns, creating a balanced diagonal construction. Compared with a 3/1 twill, it generally provides a more symmetrical weave structure.

Nylon Cotton 2/2 Twill for Uniform Apparel

For sourcing teams evaluating nylon cotton 2/2 twill, CC-NC015 may be considered for:

  • Uniform and utility trousers
  • Structured overshirts
  • Lightweight chore jackets
  • Travel and commuting garments
  • Casual workwear
  • Workwear-inspired fashion

CC-NC015 uses the same yarn specification, composition and weight as CC-NC014, but its continuous 2/2 diagonal differs visually from the broken, V-shaped herringbone pattern.

Grade 4 Water-Repellent Finish

The current specification includes Grade 4 water repellency for resistance to brief surface moisture. It does not provide a confirmed waterproof rating.

The buyer should agree on the test method, initial spray rating and required durability after washing before bulk production.

Before approving nylon cotton 2/2 twill, sourcing teams should check drape, weave direction, seam performance, dimensional stability, colour fastness and water-repellent durability.

Better Cotton Option

The cotton component can be sourced through a Better Cotton (BCI) option. Relevant supporting documentation can be provided according to order requirements.
